ADVOKADO

The series “Advokado” follows the ups and downs of the main character Brane (Ljubomir Bandović) and his faithful companion Beli (Nikola Kolja Pejaković). At the center of the plot are their friendly and family relations, typical of the Balkan climate.

The main character is a man named Branislav Pundravac. His father was a worker, an honest man, a welder, he worked hard and did not always have time and nerves for Bran, but Branislav, under the influence of a strong and determined mother, who worked in the Court (read, police) administration, managed to graduate from the Faculty of Law he never liked.

Branislav’s dexterity, knowledge and wisdom, which he demonstrates in the Court, is the complete opposite of what he demonstrates in his private life; privately, he is clumsy, intricate and naive.

The other key character is Zaviša Trulić – Beli. Branislav’s friend. He is mostly called Beli, because of a bizarre event in his youth. They are a tandem that we follow through the episodes.

The episodes pass in their hilarious-funny and poetically-sad attempts to find a new job, a chance; to overcome life’s problems, to find happiness, money, a job that will satisfy them. Their lives pass in attempts to find meaning and peace in life. Two losers and their mothers and aunts, turn Serbia upside down, and bring to the screens a humor that pampers, which is both black and romantic; emotional, open and noble. A comedy with cruel and sometimes crazy and black, comic plots.
